ABOUT JANICE

Before building my dream life, I was just your average ADHD girlie trying to keep it together. Working 16-hour shifts in healthcare, coming home exhausted, and drowning in mommy guilt because the days were passing and I wasn’t fully present for my son.

I came from a broken home — a house where my mother and stepfather were physically there, but emotionally absent. I grew up learning that being in the same room as your child doesn’t mean you're actually with them. And for years, I repeated that cycle without even realizing it.

Recently, I packed up everything, moved to Texas with just my husband and my son, and started fresh — praying to find our tribe and rebuild a healthier home from scratch.

But the truth is…
I could never draw strength from my mother.
I had to learn how to parent from God Himself.

I am still grieving the loss of a mother who is alive — grieving the relationship I always needed but never received. At 30 years old, I had a moment where I literally broke down crying for my mother, knowing deep down she could never guide me… because she herself had never been taught how.

One day, at my lowest, I fell to my knees and asked God,
“What is my purpose?”

And in that moment, my son walked into the room.
He looked at me.
And God said:
“There. I gave you your purpose. Restore My children back to the Kingdom by teaching them faith through core values.”

But before I could walk in that purpose…
God told me I had to forgive my parents so I could break the cycle, not pass it down.

Today, that purpose has become Le Village — a movement, a community, and a mission to rebuild the ethnic household with faith, discipline, love, presence, and core values.

My mission is to help parents just like me:
Parents who are healing from their past, raising kids in the present, and building a legacy for the future.
Parents who want to be intentional, value-driven, connected, and spiritually grounded.
Parents who want to break generational curses and replace them with generational values, healing, and wealth.

This is my assignment.
This is my ministry.
This is Le Village.

And I’m honored to walk this journey with you.
